invites submissions of abstracts for its fourth biannual conference, titled
"Collections and Recollections: Cultural Accumulation and Dissemination in
the Early Modern Hispanic World," that will be held at the University of
South Carolina Beaufort (Hilton Head Gateway Campus) on October 14-16, 2010. An
interdisciplinary organization, the Emit Society strongly encourages papers
that deal with the open concept of "collections" and
"recollections" in the early modern Hispanic world, and with the
unique relationships between visual images and literary texts. Please submit
via email (1) a one-page abstract (to be considered<o:p></o:p></p>
