job openings in SPANISH at the University of Puget Sound. Both positions
are 3-YR Visiting Assistant Professorships. As noted below, one is
tailored for a Peninsularist and the other for a Latin Americanist.

group of teacher scholars, in the Spanish Program, four of which are tenured or
tenure-track. Aside from many smaller activities, every year we organize a
local colloquium named SPANISH MATTERS. Currently, we are starting
conversations with other colleagues in the region in the hope that SPANISH
MATTERS will become a full fledged regional conference in due course.
